After over a year of planning and four solid months of working on the van one would imagine we’d be departing Worcester with, at the very least, a hint of confidence that we had adequately prepared. In reality, I am saturated by thoughts of doubt.
Yesterday was my last day of work at both of my jobs. It was a pretty surreal feeling actually, like “I guess this trip is really happening.” For the last year I’ve worked part time at a local manufacturing company, helping them jump-start a sustainability program. I have also worked at a bar in Worcester called Moynihan’s Pub for all three years of graduate school.
This is the place to be for all things Zach and Jill over the next 12+ months! We have been very busy these last few weeks. Zach is wrapping up five years at his engineering job and I just graduated yesterday from graduate school. We have been working hard to get things in place for a June 20th departure, when we will point the Astro west for a few months.
